O-dub, aka OWC, aka "the cable"

The Orlando Watersports Complex is a unique watersports park designed for wakeboarding, wakeskating, kneeboarding and waterskiing. Now 13 years old, OWC has established itself as the premiere locale for riders of all levels throughout the globe. From beginning riders just wanting to try the sport for recreation, to the professional wakeboarders and skiers from all over the world, OWC caters to all.

The most beneficial aspect of the park is the immense amount of time you can spend on the water. OWC is the only facility in the United States to have two cableways; our beginner/intermediate cable park and our slider park. The cableways allow for unlimited riding time to improve the foundation skills for wakeboarding, wakeskating and skiing. We are constantly changing and improving our sliders - making OWC the premiere slider park in the world.

In addition to the cableways, OWC is a great place to train behind the best towboats in the industry with three Nautique boats available for sessions everyday and our renowned professional coaching staff. Riders and skiers of all skill levels are welcome.

Beginner/Intermediate Cable Park

This Cablesite can be used for slalom skiing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, trick skiing, or just skiing with 2 skis. It contains a full size, competion standard, six-buoy slalom course. Our highly motivated staff will teach everybody from beginner to advanced to get better on skis.

The cable is normally run at 18 mph, to accomondate beginners. For more advanced skiers, the cable can be sped up to 36 mph. The speed control system allows for accurate speed selections from 5 mph up to 36 mph. Slalom skiers of all skill levels can enjoy the benefits of this super training facility.

Many national teams from all over the world have chosen this site for their winter training facility. We provide everything from optimized training to world class coaching.

Advanced Slider Park

This Cable is for Wakeboarders and Wakeskaters. It runs at 20 mph and currently has 8 obstacles in the lake. Two launch ramps, kicker, flat bar, table-top, a-frame, barrel, and our latest addition, the new funbox - aka Nessy. Check out what we call the "First Real Sliderpark" in the U.S.

Do the things that you've always dreamed of...

Helmets must be worn to hit the sliders. You can go a full day and practice new stuff.

This cable is home to the Indian Rope: a shorter line where you can get air as high as 35 feet. You might have seen it in videos such as 12 Honkeys, Hype or Monkey on a String.

Pros like this cable because it improves their rail skills.

There are lights on this cable so you can ride after dark (as late as 8 p.m. in the summer.)

You may have seen some of our sliders in Wakeboarding Magazine or other publications. There's a slider for everyone.

The cable is great for wakeskating; come see some of the best wakeskaters in the world!

Our highly motivated staff will help everybody, from beginner to advanced, with some tips. You can bring your own board or rent a board at our on site Pro Shop, Performance Ski and Surf. You must bring your own board to hit the sliders.

Riding on the cable is for everyone. It's easy and you might even see some Pros. Get the feeling of getting more air than you ever did before..
